The state treasurer shall be custodian of the fund, and he or she shall invest monies in the fund in the same manner as other funds are invested. 7) A primary caregiver shall not be subject to criminal or civil liability or sanctions under Missouri law for purchasing, transporting, or administering marijuana for medical use to a qualifying patient or participating in the patient cultivation of up to six flowering marijuana plants per patient in a manner consistent with this section and generally established legal standards of personal or professional conduct.
Violation of this prohibition shall subject the violator to sanctions as provided by general law.
